How Should I Know?

Yoga taught me to breathe. Boy would I need it.

I came to teaching it earnestly. But somewhere along the way, the mat became a stage for my deepest patterns.

I learned to perform. To please. To earn the attention I never got when I was young — and I was pretty good at it. Yet while I was seeking presence and breath — and yes, the wandering gaze of women — I was quietly bypassing the mess at home.

Then the pandemic hit and I couldn't get away with it anymore.

I was left alone with everything I'd spent my whole life avoiding. In the span of a dark few months, my life unraveled. Heartbreak. Divorce. Kids and family upended. A version of myself I could no longer lie about dissolved in front of me.

I couldn't hide from myself anymore. It was either quit life or go all in.

Thankfully through the grace of God alongside an extraordinary mentor, I began the deepest work of my life — the kind that strips you to your essence.

What came out the other side was The Dreamcode™.

Fifteen years of studying and practicing somatic work gave me precision in the body. Life showed me my soul.

Since then I've guided over 300 people through their own portals. A book being written from the same place all of this happened.

Because this work didn't come from a textbook. In fact I don't think it can. It came from a man falling apart. It came from the moment I almost gave up on life. It came from the honest journey of finding the path back to love. And it came from the choice I made — to stay, to surrender, to walk all the way through the pain.

In doing so I took what almost destroyed me and turned it into medicine.

So I could show others that you're not alone. There is a path that leads back to a life worth living.
